Vintage: Brown herringbone jacket for Eddy’s of Worcester

Giuseppe Timore, the online men’s thrifter out of Boston, is offering a jacket in his online store originally made for “Eddy’s of Worcester.” I’ll be on the lookout for this label in Worcester thrift shops.

Update: Sold!

Brown herringbone tweed jacket by Cricketeer for Eddy’s of Worcester, Mass., size 40 long. Two button darted front, soft shoulders, brown braided leather buttons, four button cuff, center vent, patch pockets, half lined. 100% wool, made in USA. Note: one tiny hole has been repaired on right sleeve (see photos).

(More often than not I wear something I bought from Giuseppe (at a flea market) when I’m shooting 508. In recent months, it’s been a gray tweed jacket.)

    1. i shopped there as recently as 1992…across park ave from Arby’s and the White House (later Weathervane and now Applebees)

    2. Eddy was the first name. Last name Salloom. It was 3 generations of a family owned and operated high end clothing store. I worked there for about 10 years…mid 80’s until they closed.
